O.U.R. MONTGOMERY
A Faith + Community Alliance
One • United • Reaching

ABOUT US
In 2018, the Mayor's Office of the City of Montgomery led a task force to bring together faith leaders, service agencies, and neighborhood organizers to address issues affecting young people in our city. Then in January of 2019, 16-year-old Jaylon Saunders was tragically shot in his home, and several pastors came together to organize a prayer march to call for an end to violence. Out of these events emerged the OUR Montgomery Faith and Community Alliance. Since then, we've organized Prayer Walks and Gatherings every month in dozens of neighborhoods, bringing together people from diverse walks of life to become "One, United, Reaching" for the sake of our community and our children.
